We are committed to Grid Modernization - to investing in the evolution of the Island’s electricity grid to provide advanced communication and control capabilities to the benefit of our customers, and enable renewable generation sources.

As part of Grid Modernization, GBPC will install state-of-the-art Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) throughout the Island. AMI is an integrated system of smart meters, communications networks, and data management systems that enables two-way communication between utilities and customers.
